The Need for Women Ministries

Women have been an integral part of the ministry of the Church since its beginning. They have been virtually involved in the outreach of the church. Their hands on practical involvement in the ministry reflects the nature of women; sensing the needs of others. Because women are intuitively nurturing and compassionate, their ministries are productive. At Go Ye Gospel Ministries we have an organized women ministry which is multi-faceted and designed to meet women’s personal needs and those of others in the community.

The need for women ministries cannot be overemphasized. Many young women are looking for role models and mentors as they begin new stages of life such as marriage, parenting, working, discovering life as single adults, becoming care givers to aging parents, etc.  At Go Ye Gospel Ministries we believe all women are uniquely created and important in the Kingdom of God.

The purpose of Women’s ministries at Go Ye Gospel Ministries is to glorify God by encouraging women to:

1. Know God in a personal way and grow in Christ likeness.
2. To discover and use spiritual gifts to do the work of ministry.
3. To love and serve others  through visits to homes of the needy, hospitals, nursing facilities etc
4. To creatively reflect the beauty of the Lord Jesus Christ by demonstrating His compassionate approach to human problems.
